About the Role

We are currently recruiting a Commis de Rang for a new opening of a luxury restaurant in the heart of Milan.

Job Description

We are looking for a professional and qualified Commis de Rang to support our staff in order to guarantee customer satisfaction and offering a quality service that is mindful, timely, with great care for details and customized in a simple and pleasant atmosphere. You must be a contributor to the Restaurant success working full dedicated and acknowledging the contribution of others, interacting actively with co-workers from other sectors (Reception, Bar, Kitchen, F&B Procurement) improving Team Working.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide support to guest service experience;

  • Be an excellent communicator and team working oriented;

  • Mise-en-place setting according to our standard;

  • Maintain the dining room clean at all the time;

  • Make sure that all silver and glasses are wiped and spotless;

  • Quality control of the setups in the restaurant and lounge;

  • Anticipate guest needs, as to where guests will never have to ask for anything;

  • Be organized at running a section and go back and forth between lounge and kitchen;

  • Cleaning of working areas in accordance with HACCP guidelines;

  • Active participation in onboard training programs.


Requirements:


  • Have good knowledge of food and preparation;

  • Work in a safe, prudent and organized manner;

  • Excellent attention to detail;

  • Confident, professional and welcoming personality;

  • Have the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time;

  • Have excellent communication and organization skills;

  • Must be well groomed and maintain impeccable hygiene standards;

  • Reading, writing and oral good in the English Language and Italian;

  • Almost 6 months’ previous experience in the role, preferred also abroad.
