We are currently recruiting a Sales Assistant / Stock Controller for a premium fashion brand in Roermond.
Job Description
As a Sales Assistant with Stock Management, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations within the store. You'll be responsible for assisting customers, maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing store, and overseeing stock inventory to meet customer demands.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers, offering product information and guidance;
Provide a high level of customer service to enhance the shopping experience;
Handle inquiries and resolve customer issues in a professional manner;
Actively promote and sell products to meet sales targets;
Process customer transactions accurately using the point of sale system;
Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities;
Receive, inspect, and organize incoming merchandise;
Maintain accurate stock levels and replenish displays as necessary;
Conduct regular stock checks and report low inventory levels to management;
Track stock movement, including returns and exchanges;
Implement loss prevention measures to protect store assets;
Assist with inventory audits as required;
Maintain records of stock movements and sales;
Collaborate with the management team to address stock-related issues.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent;
Previous retail or sales experience is an advantage;
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills;
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock;
Proficiency in using a point of sale system;
Physical ability to lift and move stock items;
Knowledge of stock management and inventory control best practices.
