Sales Assistant / Stock Controller

As a Sales Assistant with Stock Management, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations within the store. You'll be responsible for assisting customers, maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing store, and overseeing stock inventory to meet customer demands.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers, offering product information and guidance;

• Provide a high level of customer service to enhance the shopping experience;

• Handle inquiries and resolve customer issues in a professional manner;

  
  

• Actively promote and sell products to meet sales targets;

• Process customer transactions accurately using the point of sale system;

• Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities;

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming merchandise;

• Maintain accurate stock levels and replenish displays as necessary;

• Conduct regular stock checks and report low inventory levels to management;

• Track stock movement, including returns and exchanges;

• Implement loss prevention measures to protect store assets;

• Assist with inventory audits as required;

• Maintain records of stock movements and sales;

• Collaborate with the management team to address stock-related issues.

  
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent;

• Previous retail or sales experience is an advantage;

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills;

• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock;

• Proficiency in using a point of sale system;

• Physical ability to lift and move stock items;

• Knowledge of stock management and inventory control best practices.
